About Me

My photo
recovery coach bev
I am a family recovery coach and a longtime member of the community of recovering family members. I work in person or by phone, with individuals and small groups. I became a family recovery coach to help others deal with the challenges of living and working productively and happily, while 'being there' for an addicted loved one. I support my clients to: 1. experience inner peace and serenity whether the addict is still using or not 2. help their loved one navigate the treatment world 3. model centered living for the addict 4. get their own live back 5. accept their loved one, but not accept unacceptable behavior 6. become an effective mirror for the addict 7. function effectively at work and home, regardless of the addict's decisions. I've been trained as a certified empowerment coach, recovery support specialist, true purpose coach, and add coach. A former school principal, I have a Masters Degree and spent much of my school career advocating for students and families. I also consult with and speak to schools and businesses on recovery-related topics. I'm a member of Recovery Coaches International and the International Coaches Federation.
